Daily Prayer
The Word:
Proverbs 10:24-25 (HCSB) 24 What the wicked dreads will come to him, but what the righteous desire will be given to ?them?. 25 When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the righteous are secure forever.
My observation:
In this life the people of God have to face storms. It is practically impossible to get through life without encountering trials and troubles. In every life some rain eventually falls. We don’t get through life without eventually getting wet. However, when these storms come, we have the promise of God that he will be with us. Our God is a shelter in the time of storms. The umbrella of being in the arc of the care of Jesus is the ultimate protection from whatever you may be going through today or in all of your tomorrows. God’s protection plan is secure and will last forever.
My inspiration:
Psalm 107:28-31 (HCSB) 28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. 29 He stilled the storm to a murmur, and the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 They rejoiced when the waves grew quiet. Then He guided them to the harbor they longed for. 31 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His faithful love and His wonderful works for ?all? humanity.
My prayer:
Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I thank you for the solid foundation that you provide that enables your people to persevere to the end of the race.
Father God, I acknowledge that I can’t make it through the storms of life in my strength alone. I need Thee, and thank God, I have Jesus to carry me through.
Psalms 107:1 (NKJV) 1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
My song:
