Daily Prayer

The Word:

Deuteronomy 33:27 (HCSB) The God of old is ?your? dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He drives out the enemy before you and commands, “Destroy!”

My observation:

It is comforting to know that the eternal God has made his dwelling place in the hearts of his people. How awesome is that? The eternal God lives in you and me.

When you need him you can reach out and touch his almighty hand. Whatever you are going through, if you are a child of the living God, he is near you. His everlasting arms are underneath you. He is a mighty God so you can trust him to keep you from harm from the raging storms of life.

Why put your trust in the strength of the flesh when you can put your life in the everlasting arms of the Lord God who is almighty.

My inspiration:

Psalm 37:17 (HCSB) For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord supports the righteous.

Psalm 89:13 (HCSB) You have a mighty arm; Your hand is powerful; Your right hand is lifted high.

My Counsel:

Proverbs 3:5 (HCSB) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding;

My prayer:

Our Father in heaven, my dear Father, I praise and thank you for the sweet time that I have had this morning walking through the Word of God.

Father God, I thank You for the confidence and comfort I have in knowing that your everlasting and powerful arms are resting underneath my soul keeping me from whatever storms I encounter during my journey through this world.

Father God, I am so thankful that you are a forever God who is always near your children.
